Fees & Costume Rental

Kryla's fee schedule hasn't changed much over the past 20 years - incredible! We have one of the lowest fees for community participation in the area - due to the fact that we are able to fundraise using Alberta Bingo funds to supplement our club's income.

The current 2005-2006 fee schedule (including rental of our beautiful costumes for several levels) and approximate ages/grades of students is as follows:

Pre-Beginner & Beginner Level - $80.00

Junior Level - $110.00

Intermediate Level - $130.00 (up to 2 costume rentals included)

Senior Level - $160.00 (up to 2 costume rentals included)

Kryla Festival & Exam Class - $100 (Approximate)

Performance Level - $225.00 (up to 5 costume rentals included)

New dancers are invited to come out in September and try the classes for 2 weeks before committing to the school for that dance season. All classes are organized according to numbers of students enrolled, and placement in these groups is done by the instructor. Tryouts for the Performance group are done on an as needed basis.

Volunteering
In addition to Dance Fees for each dancer in Kryla, parents are asked to provide one worker for 3 club bingo dates throughout the year (maximum of seven per family) and provide 5 volunteer hours for the club activities.

First year Beginner dancers are exempt from Bingo requirements. As some families are committed elsewhere in the community, Bingo Worker and volunteer requirements are able to be paid - at a cost of $50 each.
